Marilyn Joan Walker passed away January 29, 2013, at the age of 83.
Marilyn was born February 7, 1929 to Israel and Edna (Bollman) Putman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Don of Van Buren, and
her daughters Jerilyn (Steve) Smith of Findlay, Karen Adkins of Van Buren,
and Steven (Cathy) Walker of Defiance.  She is also survived by her
granddaughters Holly (Scott) Taylor of Defiance, Angela (Mark)
Fenstermaker of Van Buren, Courtney (Joe) Allen of Bellevue, Michigan,
Jennifer (Ian) Hoadley of Findlay, Casey (Aaron) Penton of Brownsboro,
Alabama, and Lindsay Walker of Defiance, and her great grandchildren Elise
and Parker Fenstermaker, and her sisters Joyce Williams of Archbold,
Christine (Les) Pfund of Delta, and Carol (the late William) Segrist of
Saginaw.  She was preceded in death by her infant son Kim Walker, her
parents Israel and Edna (Bollman) Putman, and brother Israel “Bud”
Putman.  Marilyn was born in Delta, Ohio and lived in the Delta/Swanton area her
entire life until moving to Van Buren in December 2008.  She was a member
of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay.  She enjoyed EVERYTHING in life and
always saw the good in everything.  Her favorite activities were
gardening, sewing, crocheting, cooking and playing with her great
grandchildren Ellie and Parker.  She is loved so much and will be missed
by many, but we know she is with her Heavenly Father and we will see her
again someday.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013
at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2300 Northridge Rd  Findlay, with Pastor
Robert Krueger officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour
(10:00 - 11:00) prior to the service.  Additional visitation will be held
from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013 and from 11:00 a.m. -
12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Barnes Funeral Chapel,
5825 St. Hwy 109, Delta, Ohio 43515.  A graveside service will take place at
12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Fulton Union Cemetery, Delta, OH.
Memorial contributions can be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2300
Northridge Rd. Findlay, OH 45840.  Local arrangements entrusted to
