I would like to extend my sympathy to all the family. I lived near Verna and her siblings back in our school days. Their home was on Lincoln Ave. and ours on North Main St......my sister was in Virgil's grade. I remember how their dad tamed the squirrels in the neighborhood.....I think they would eat right out of his hand.

Thank you for your kind words. Mom will be missed. Grandpa Fitzsimmons did have squirrels that would eat out of his hand. One was named Bonnie after my youngest sister. I remember staying at their house and waiting for Grandpa to walk home from Pilliods each day.

Thank you for thinking of us.

Lil & I were saddened to hear Verna had passed. We have many memories of attending Goaldigger Hockey games and many times fishing in Lake Erie. Jim AKA Harry & Bullfrog was a treat to be around . We will miss them both and offer our sincere condolence to the family. R.I.P.

Thank you for your kind words. Mom will be missed. Dad and mom enjoyed all of their friends from Manville especially those that liked to fish and play cards. I love to hear stories of the lunches my mom packed for dad.

Thank you for thinking of us. -- Falor girls.

I saw Verna's obituary in The Blade. I extend to her family my sincere sympathy. My husband Ted and I were teachers at Swanton High School when Verna was a student there. I remember her well including the fact that she was married while a student--I believe in her junior year. Obviously that marriage was very successful. May our gracious Lord comfort and strengthen you in your sorrow.

My husband Ted died two years ago in September.

Thank you for your kind words. How nice of you to remember mom. She indeed married day while in High School. One of her classmates came to the funeral home as well. I'm sorry to hear of your husband's passing. If you have any stories to share about mom, I would love to hear them.

Dear Falor family,
We were so sorry to hear Verna passed away. She always had a happy smile and was so kind. We both enjoyed visiting with her at the Delta American Legion. Indeed she let Christ's light shine for all to see. May God give comfort to all her family during this sad time.

Don and I are shocked and saddened to hear of Verna's passing. To say our prayers and sympathies are with you seems so empty. Verna was a very special lady, always with a ready smile and a kind word. We valued her friendship, and having her as a neighbor for almost 39 years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

May your memories and your faith in God give you the comfort you need at this time,

Don and Judi
