Harold Lloyd (Bill) Elliott, husband of the late Gladys Elliott, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sep 18, 2018. Born in Arkansas, he was a longtime resident of both Toledo and Delta, Ohio, most recently residing in Arlington, Texas. Harold, a lifelong Christian, quietly lived his faith helping others. He enjoyed a good conversation, making people laugh and seeing them smile. He also enjoyed playing cards, watching baseball and doing crossword puzzles. He worked for 36 years at Textileather in Toledo. He was a US Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific during WWII and was a member of the American Legion. Harold is survived by his daughters Annie and Gillian; Annie’s husband Brian Morr, their daughters Lara Morr and Michelle Krabill; Michelle’s husband Kent, their children Caedmon and Rosalind; Gillian’s husband Tim and their daughter Emerald. Also surviving are two of his eight siblings, his brothers, Fred (TX) and J.T. (AR). Friends will be received at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday October 2, 2018, with American Legion Post #373 conducting services at 7:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday October 3 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor St., Delta, OH. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery with full military honors.
