I read Lloyd's obituary in The Blade. I extend to his family my sincere sympathy. I'm sure you don't know who I am. When Lloyd was a student at Swanton High School my husband Ted and I were both teachers there. He was in one of my classes and I'm almost positive in at least one of Ted's classes. I also knew his sister Lora Lee. They were both good students and pleasant and relatively quiet. From reading the obit, I assume that Lloyd was successful in his life's endeavors. May our Lord comfort and strengthen you at this time of sorrow. In sympathy, Dora Titgemeyer

My husband died in September, 2015,at the age of 93.

I read Lloyd's obituary in The Blade and extend to his family my sincere sympathy. You probably have no idea who I am. When Lloyd was a student at Swanton High School my husband Ted and I were teachers there. Ted taught math and I taught English and Latin. Lloyd was in my class and I'm quite sure in at least one of Ted's classes. IU also knew his sister Lora Lee. They were both good students and pleasant and relatively quiet. I assume from reading the obit that Lloyd was successful in his life's endeavors. I trust that you will find comfort in knowing that he apparently had a Christian faith. May our Lord grant you comfort and peace at this time of sorrow. In sympathy, Dora Titgemeyer

I was sorry to read of Loyd's passing. As a classmate of Betty's for twelve years, I have fond members of visiting their home and getting to know the family, including Loyd and Lora Lee.. Time goes by but the memories remain.

It's with a great deal of sadness, I write this. As a young mason 40-50 years ago, I visited many lodges and I'd see a lot of Loyd, and we became good friends. Over the years, our paths didn't cross, and I lost track of him. In 1994, I started working in the machine shop at Leader Engineering, and I thought I recognized the lathe operator, and guess what, it was
Loyd. We renewed our friendship, but he retired soon afterward. I tried to locate him, several times but was unsuccessful. He was a good man, and my heart goes out to you for your loss. May God bless you at this difficult time.
