Margie J. (Addison) Winland

Margie J. Winland, age 69, of Delta, peacefully passed away at her home Monday morning, September 24, 2018.  She was born in Wauseon on May 16, 1949.  On January 7, 1967 she married Gordon “Duke” Winland and he survives.  Margie was an LPN for 37 years; serving at Detwiler Nursing Home, Flower Hospital and over 20 years with Genesis Health Care in Swanton.  Since 1982, she was an avid Elvis Presley fan; visiting Graceland every year she could and for special events.  Margie also enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling and knitting.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Barb (McConnell) Addison and Fred Addison.  Margie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gordon; children, Gordon (Jamie) Winland II of Wauseon and Cindy (Bob) Bowsher of Illinois; grandchildren, Nicolette, Gordon III, Grace, Allen, Brandon, Taylor, Diedre, Ryan, Tommy and Gabriel; step-brother, Frederick (Louann) Addison; step-sister, Carol Addison; great grandchildren and many loving friends.  Friends will be received from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta, OH; where a funeral service honoring her life will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 28, 2018.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Margie’s memory to the Open Door, 104 Monroe St, Delta, Ohio 43515.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
