Rosemarie “Rosie” (Simon) Morr, age 87, of Delta, with her family by her side; passed away at Swanton Health Care on October 4, 2017.   She was born in Toledo on March 5, 1930 to the late Joseph Cufr and Wilhelmina (Pivonka) Cufr.  Rosie was a graduate of AI School.   She married Don Simon Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1989, later she was united in marriage to Marvin Morr and he preceded her in death in 2012.  Rosie retired in 1990 from Fulton Industries after serving over 25 years with them.  She was a member of the Delta American Legion Auxiliary and Delta Eagles Auxiliary.  Rosie was an avid euchre and pinochle player, usually taking in several games a week.  She is survived by her children, Don (Pam) Simon Jr., Randy (Pam Castillo) Simon, Diane (Bob) Norden, Carolyn Golden, Connie (Todd) Miller, Cheryl Carter, Carl (Margaret) Morr, Daryl (Judy) Morr, Phil (Diane) Morr and Jan (Gary) Friess; brother, Dave (Eileen) Cufr; sister, Millie (Leo) Kuhn; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Rosie was also preceded in death by her son, Roger Simon; brother, Robert Cufr and granddaughter, Melanie Golden.  Friends will be received from 2:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with an American Legion Auxiliary Service being held at 7:30 PM.  A funeral service celebrating Rosie’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday also at the funeral home.  Her brother-in-law, Pastor Leo Kuhn will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Waterville.  Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Great Lakes Hospice, Delta American Legion Auxiliary, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Delta Fire and Rescue.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
