Thomas Silvestri Shope

Thomas Silvestri Shope, of Delta, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on February 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born at Toledo Hospital on February 4, 2018 to Dustin and Antoinette (Silvestri) Shope.  Along with his parents, Thomas is survived by his brothers, Joey and Wade Shope; maternal grandparents, Tony (Amy) Silvestri of Sylvania; paternal grandparents, Joan Smolenski of Delta and Joel (Lori) Shope of Toledo; as well as aunts and uncles, Arthur, Mary (Derek) Schrock, Millie, Amy, Raymond, Giovanni, Cecilia, Gina, Mystel (Jeremy) Aldrich, Jeremy, Jesse and Greg; along with loving cousins. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a funeral service for Thomas will begin at 11:00 AM.  Fr. Dave Nuss will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Wolfinger Cemetery in Berkey.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to show sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the family in Thomas’ memory. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
