Lon and Marty, we send our condolences to all of your Shipman family. Barb and I have so many fond memories of Marv and Virginia as they served us through Shipman Advertising.
Such fine Christian people all of you are. Ready to help with our needs and guide us as we grow in our business. We really appreciate your family business helping our family serve our communities. You all are a blessing in what you are doing. Thanks for letting us know of your Mom's passing. You are all in our prayers for comfort healing with Mom's going to be with her Marv. "Such a pair" Marv and Virginia. We will always remember.

I am sorry for your loss. We went all through Swanton School together. And she did have a lovely voice. I remember her singing a solo, "Scatterbrain"..... I think it was in second grade. I admired her talent and stage presence so much.

I knew sweet Virginia from the Manor. My mother was there until 2014. Virginia was always friendly whenever I would see her and such a wonderful woman. May her beautiful spirit fly free~Love and prayers for the family and may all the beautiful memories rise above the grief <3

Lon, Sara & Marva and Families, Was so sadden to see in the Blade about your Mom, she was a great lady, and loved working with and for her, sorry I didn't make it over to see her as I should have, but health hasn't been the best. Though we won't be to visitation nor the service's, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families, we both know how you feel, you will miss her, but cherish the beautiful memories she and your Dad left you. Dale isn't doing great is having treatments for Lung cancer, and it sure take's everything out of him, again, we will be thinking of you all, and our prayers are with you, God bless you each one.

Delta lost another "Angel" to join that beautiful Heavenly choir. I met Virginia as a first grader at Swanton School. We were best friends and would go to her Grandma's house , a block from the school. She lived in country and her Dad would take her to school in morning. then pick her up at Grandma's house. Grandma always had fresh cookies for us.Her Grandparent owned a Hatchery and sold chicks and fresh eggs.Virginia was a dear friend and always.true to you.She had a beautiful singing voice at an early age.She tried out for majorette as high freshman. I remember seeing her at Walmart .with the group from Fulton Manor. She knew me and wanted to visit. A lovely lady and a friend.

To the Shipman family, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Every time I went to visit my mom, I would always stop in and talk a bit with Virginia. She was well liked at the Manor. With sympathy, Deb Myers

I liked visiting with Virginia when she would come in the FCHC cafeteria when I was working. When I would go to Fulton Manor, I would always stop and say Hi to her. A wonderful lady.
