Amanda "Mandi" Mangas, age 23 of Delta, passed away at the University of Toledo Medical Center on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017.  She was born on October 14, 1993 in Defiance to Michael Mangas and Vickie (Tenwalde) Mangas-Eckenrode.  Mandi was a 2012 graduate of Delta High School.  After graduation she attended Defiance College pursuing a degree in nursing.  Most recently she worked at the Delta 109 restaurant as a server.  Mandi enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, but nothing was more important to her than her little angel boy, Winston.  Left to cherish Mandi's memories are her parents, Michael (Deb) Mangas and Vickie (Gary) Mangas-Eckenrode; step-brother, Shane (Alyssa) Bruner; step-sister, Erica (Don) Daniels and paternal grandmother, Grace Mangas.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wilma and Virgil Tenwalde and paternal grandfather, Norbert Mangas.  Friends and family will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.  Interment and service will be private for the family.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express a show of sympathy are encouraged to consider contributions to the family for the future care of her son Winston; c/o Mike Mangas.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
