Barry W. Growden, age 54, of Delta, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.  He was born May 30, 1958 to the late Melvin and Kathryn (Edwards) Growden.  Also preceding Barry in death was his infant brother, Keith Growden.  Among his survivors are his children, Ben of Columbus, Tyler of Columbus, Jesse of Delta and Kaylee of Delta; brothers, Andrew (Melissa) Growden of Holland, Ohio and Michael (Donna) Growden of Monument, CO; fiancee, Peggy (Reynolds) Green of Delta; nephews and nieces, Willem, Silas & Laurel Growden and former wife, Roxanne (Raker) Miller of Delta.  Barry was a 1976 graduate of Delta High School.  He truly was a sports enthusiast; following his two favorite teams, the Detroit Tigers and the OSU football team, but most of all enjoyed golfing.  A public memorial service for Barry will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor St. in Delta. Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta.
