Beverly M. Brown, age 70, of Delta, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 24, 2012 at The Toledo Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 14, 1942 to the late Freeman Moose and Lavina (Helberg) Moose. Beverly was a graduate of Napoleon High School. On September 15, 1962 she was united in marriage to Jim C. Brown and they shared 50 amazing years together. Beverly was employed by the Delta Public Schools from 1978 – 2007 serving in many capacities and retiring as school librarian. Beverly had a compassion for being loving and thoughtful by remembering birthdays and special occasions; as well as reaching out to others in need. Beverly enjoyed spending time at Bird Lake with her loving, dedicated husband and best friend, Jim and especially with her grandchildren. She also was fond of "shopping adventures" with her sister, Karen and morning coffee time with her daughter, Kim. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie and Burdell Moose; and great nephew, Chance Cordrey. Left to cherish Beverly's memories are, her husband of 50 years, Jim Brown; son, Clark (Sandy) Brown of Delta; daughter, Kim (Steve) Armbruster of Bryan; grandchildren, Kelsie (Anthony) McMurtry, Haley Brown, Landon Brown, Taryn (Austin Walz) Armbruster, Caleb (Jessie Ruckman) Armbruster and Jordan Armbruster; sisters, Evon (Ken) Rufenacht and Karen (Robert) Cordrey; and special nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Mark) Puls and Jacob and Kendall Puls. Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta. A funeral service celebrating Beverly's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at the Delta United Methodist Church, 101 Northwood Dr., Delta, Ohio 43515. Pastor Jay Miklovic will be officiating. Interment will follow at Amboy Township Cemetery in Metamora. Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Delta United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice in her memory.
