Bonita "Bonnie" Kigar of Delta, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday evening, April 15, 2013 at her home; surrounded by her family. She was born on February 3, 1953 in Toledo to the late James Carey and Norma (Ditto) Carey. Bonnie was a 1972 graduate of Delta High School and later married Rick Kigar on August 25, 1979. She was a member of the Delta Church of Christ. Bonnie worked as an administrative assistant with Kigar Realty & Auction in Delta and later owned and operated the Floral Depot in Delta, until stepping down in 2003 due to her health. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Rick Kigar; daughters, Lisa (Scott) Yoder of Delta and Angel (Gary) Beagle of Swanton; sister, Colleen Overmier; grandchildren, Mariah Rable, Cloe and Seth Knisel, Montana Yoder and step-grandchildren, Yvonne (Jason) Stefanski, Wyatt, Olivia, Evan and Remington Yoder and faithful canine companion "Honey". Friends will be received on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with a celebration of her life beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor David Underwood will be officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
