Bruce A. Bechstein, age 63, of Wauseon, passed away at the University of Toledo Medical Center on Friday evening, March 29, 2013.  He was born on September 11, 1949 in Wauseon to the late Herbert George Bechstein and Bertha Pauline (Hoffer) Bechstein.  On October 7, 1972 he married Joanne King and she survives.  For over 32 years, Bruce drove truck for Joe Bechstein & Sons Excavating; retiring in 2006.  Bruce enjoyed reading and was an avid Detroit sports fan.  He always followed the Tigers, Lions and Detroit Pistons. In addition to his wife of 40 years, Joanne Bechstein, he is survived by brothers, Dale (Donelda) Bechstein of Delta and Norman (Edna) Bechstein of Wauseon and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Bechstein in 2010.  Family and friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with a vigil service beginning at 7:30 PM.  A Memorial Mass for Bruce will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Caspar Catholic Church, 1205 N. Shoop Ave. in Wauseon.  Father Robert Holden will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 6800 W.
