Darryl G. Piercy, age 55, of Delta, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wauseon on February 7, 1961 to Forrest James and Helen Ida (Essex) Piercy. On December 13, 2006 he Married Donna Minnich (Mock) and she survives. Darryl enjoyed doing yardwork, mowing the lawn and he loved to go fishing. He especially cherished time with family and friends. Darryl is survived by his loving wife, Donna and together they shared 24 wonderful years; daughter, Beth (Keith) Burns; step children, Jeana (Ryan) McDaries, Robert (Brandy) Minnich, Stephen Minnich and Kyle (Monique) Minnich; father, Forrest (Irene) Piercy; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Piercy, and two sisters, Teresa (Bob) Venegas and Grace (David) Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his mother and a nephew.  Friends will be received from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Darryl's life will begin at 4:00 PM. Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, a show of sympathy can be made to the Eleanor N.
