Diane M. Stachowiak, age 65, of Swanton, peacefully passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 20, 2014 with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Toledo, OH, one of three children born to Edward Eischen and Georgia Chapman.  Diane married Raymond Stachowiak and he preceded her in death.  Diane was a homemaker most of her life.  She had a passion for animals of all kinds and always gave them shelter and love.  Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and sister, Jeanette Bancroft.  Surviving are her children, James (Sandra) Eitniear of Swanton and Jody (Lonnie) Goins of Swanton; brother, Eddie (Marlene) Chapman of Swanton; special friend, Colonel Murray of Delta and loving grandchildren.  A memorial service for Diane will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where friends will be received one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Private interment will be held at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Natures Nursery, P.O Box 2395, Whitehouse, Ohio 43571 or Animal Assistance League, P.O Box 37, Colton, Ohio 43510 in Diane's memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
