Donald L. Koder, age 82, of Delta, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 24, 2012 at Swanton Valley Care Center.  He was born in Wauseon on October 24, 1930 to the late Daniel Koder and Ruth (Spaulding) Koder.  Donald served in the U.S Army from 1951 to 1953.  On November 28, 1953 he married June Mason.  Donald worked at InMont Corp. and Textile Leather in Toledo before his retirement.  He was baptized at the Delta Church of Christ.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years; June E. Koder; children, Karen Wagner, Judy (Gene) Helminiak and Terry Koder all of Delta; grandchildren, Dr. Julia (Ben) King, Autumn (Ashton) Davis, Brooke Wagner and Collin (Christie) Wagner; great granddaughter, Cambria June Davis; half sister, Jeanette (Chuck) Graser; step sisters, Evelyn (Don) Kerr and Penny (Larry) Bucher; and many loving nieces and nephews.  Donald was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charles Koder; an infant brother; and step brother, Everette Koder.  Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Donald's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Delta Church of Christ, 500 Providence St., Delta, Ohio 43515.  Private interment will be at Dutch Ridge Cemetery at a later time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association, 2500 N.
