Donald C. Loar, age 88, of Archbold, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Northcrest Nursing and Rehbilitation Center in Napoleon.  Donald was born in Blissfield, MI on May 2, 1930 to Harry & Ethel (Smith) Loar.  He married Doris Baker in July, 1972.  Donald had worked part-time for UPS as well as being a handy man for many community families.  He also worked for the former Markey Bronze for 30 years retiring in 1986.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Doris; children, Lynn Galbraith; Brad (Valenda) Loar; Teri (David) Bistline; Robin (Raymond) Reynolds and 10 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 1 sister.  In keeping with Donald's wishes there will be no public visitation or service.  Burial will be private.   Arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5852 St. Hwy 109, Delta.
