Eileen M. Russell, age 90, of Delta, passed away at her home Wednesday morning, February 25, 2015.   She was born at home in Bowling Green, OH on March 26, 1924 to the late Freddie Rayle and Dorothy (Finch) Rayle.  Eileen graduated from Albert E. Smith High School in Riverview, MI.  She married Eugene Russell, who passed away in 1993.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, James Russell; brothers, Fred Rayle, Bob Rayle and Tom Jackson; sister, Frieda Valerie and granddaughter, Jamie Russell.  Eileen is survived by her sons, George (Diane) Russell of Defiance and Gary "Bert" (Sharon) Russell of Delta; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Friends will be received on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.; where a funeral service celebrating Eileen's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday also at the funeral home.   Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to a hospice organization of your choice in her name.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
