Erlinda L. Ramos, age 79, of Tedrow, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday afternoon, May 8, 2014.  She was born in New Braunsfels, TX on January 3, 1935 to the late Juventino Lopez and Juanita (Fonseca) Lopez.  Erlinda was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church.  A few of her many hobbies included traveling, especially to LasVegas where she enjoyed visiting the casinos and gambling with family and friends.  Erlinda was a homemaker throughout her life and nothing was more special to her than her family; which she enjoyed dearly.  On March 18, 1961, Erlinda married Jose R. Ramos Sr, who survives and together had 5 children; Guadalupe Hovis, Joe (Gail) Ramos, John Ramos, Ronald (Heather) Ramos and Sally Lou Urbina.  Also surviving are her siblings, Jessie (Olivia) Lopez, Mary Serna, Juventino (Lilly) Lopez Jr., Millie Cook, Maggie (Larry) Barrett and John Lopez; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.  Preceding Erlinda in death was her brother, Celestino Lopez, Sister, Eloisa Alvarado and daughter, Sally Lou Urbina.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:30 PM.  Prayers will begin at the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Resurrection for Erlinda being held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Caspar Catholic Church, 1205 N. Shoop Ave. in Wauseon.  Father David Bruning will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Tedrow Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to St. Caspar Catholic Church in Erlinda's memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
