Gregory "Greg" Allan Brown, age 58, of Delta, passed away Wednesday morning, October 12, 2022 at Blue Creek Healthcare in Whitehouse, Ohio.  He was born at City Hospital in Akron, Ohio on August 5, 1964 to the late Peter Brown and Marjorie (Horning) Brown.  Greg graduated from Sandusky St. Mary's High School as senior class Valedictorian and later received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toledo.  On May 19, 2001, he married Kristin R. Evans at St. Patrick's of Heatherdowns Church in Toledo, and she survives.  Greg served 13 years as a mechanical engineer with General Motors in Defiance.  He enjoyed sports of all varieties, everything from playing softball, teaching his boys how to play baseball; to supporting his Cleveland Indians and Browns.  His Catholic faith was important to him and attended St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon.  Greg is survived by his wife of 21 years, Kristin Brown; sons, William and Alexander Brown; brothers, James (Steven) Benko-Brown and Michael (Leslie) Brown; sisters, Brenda (Jeff) Becker and Jen (Matt) Jenne; along with loving nieces and nephews.  Private interment will take place next to his parents at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, Ohio.  There will be no local public services.  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory , 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com .
