Helen Louise Wells, age 73, of Delta, with her husband "Butch" by her side, passed away at her home Monday afternoon, April 30, 2012.  She was born in Delta on December 18, 1938 to the late Archie Durbin and Edna (Murry) Durbin.  On October 23, 1965 she married Ernest "Butch" Wells; enjoying 46 years together.  Louise worked in the clerical department at former McCord Corporation in Wauseon for over 39 years.  Later she worked at the Wauseon Courthouse for five years, before retiring.  Louise played organ at various churches over 40 years including her home church where she was a member, The Church of the Master United Methodist in Wauseon.  Louise was also a member of the Eastern Star, Fulton Chapter #67 and the Daughters of the American Revolution.  In addition to her husband, "Butch", she is survived by her brothers, Lowell Durbin of Bryan and Homer Durbin of Delta; and loving nieces and nephews.  Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a memorial service for Louise will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday.  Pastor Ben Sheaffer will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.  Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Church of the Master United Methodist, 229 West Chestnut St., Wauseon, OH 43567 or Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties, 230 Westfield Dr., Archbold, Ohio 43502 in Louise's memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
