Helen M. Woody, age 90 of Delta, passed early Saturday morning, August 4, 2012 at Swanton Health Care.  She was born September 16, 1921 to the late Julius and Julia (Zincsah) Poca.  Helen graduated from Fulton Township "AI" High School in 1940.  On July 27, 1946 she was united in marriage to Burl H. Woody and he survives.  During the war years of the 1940's, Helen worked at Willys - Overland Motors and Autolite.  Later she was employed for over 33 years at McCord Corporation in Wauseon and retired in 1986.  Helen was a past member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Swanton and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Delta.  In addition to her husband of 66 years, Burl Woody; she is survived by her son, B.J. Woody of Delta and daughter, Carol (Eric) Burns of Delta; and grandchildren, Jamie and Brian Burns.  Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Julius Jr. and Joe Poca.  Friends and family will be received from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Helen's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Pastor Eric Markovich will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.  Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church, 410 Taylor St., Delta, Ohio 43515 or a charity of the donor's choice in Helen's memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com
