Jerry W. Eberly, age 69, of Lyons, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, June 23, 2016.  He was born in Wauseon on December 19, 1946 to the late Donald Eberly and Margaret (Goodrich) Eberly.  Jerry was a graduate of Wauseon High School.  On April 2, 1984, he married Nancy Ehrsam and she preceded him in death on February 24, 2009.  By trade he worked as a self-employed heavy equipment operator and also worked for Ehrsam Excavating.  Jerry enjoyed hunting, horseback riding, coin collecting and most of all spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents and wife, Nancy, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ora, Ronald and Raymond Eberly and two infant sisters.  Jerry is survived by his children, Steve (Hailey) Anglemyre of Holland, OH and Joline (Bruce) Mundhenk of Wauseon; brothers, James (Mary Ann) Eberly of Wauseon, Roger Eberly of Delta and Robert "Butch" (Edith) Eberly of Lyons; grandson, Connor Elliott; and many loving nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 27, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Jerry's life will be held 12:00 Noon on Monday.  Pastor James Clifford Mann will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Winameg Cemetery in Delta.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family care of Joline Mundhenk.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
