Joan J. Green, age 79, of Swanton, with her family by her side, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo She was born in Wauseon on May 8, 1936 to the late Paul Taylor and Thelma (Sprague) Taylor. Joan attended Delta High School. She married the late Richard Green and together were blessed with six children. Joan worked at Fulton Industries in Wauseon; along with being a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of Swan Creek Community Church in Delta. She is survived by her children, Vickie (Jack) Adams of Delta, Kathy (John) Gilders of Delta, Ronnie (Donna) Green of Whitehouse, Jodi Green of Swanton and Kim (Kip) Roop of Swanton; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Joan was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelli Green and sisters, Virginia Raker and Deanna Riegsecker. Friends will be received from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. Funeral services for Joan will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday also at the funeral home. Pastor Scott Rashley will be officiating. Interment will follow at Raker Cemetery in Delta.
