June I. Langenderfer, age 91, of Kenton, OH and a longtime resident of Delta, passed away peacefully Friday morning December 28, 2012 at the Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  June was born on June 18, 1921 in Colton, OH to the late Harve Dickerson and Mildred (Bowman) Dickerson.   She was united in marriage to Jerome F. Langenderfer; who preceded her in death.  June worked many years as a grocery clerk for Jerry's IGA in Delta and later Delta Community Market.  She was a member of St Richard Catholic Church in Swanton.  June is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Dane) Osborne of Kenton; grandchildren, Denise (Terry) Thurston and Dawn Osborne and great grandchildren, Maria and Megan Thurston. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her young daughter, Karen Langenderfer; brothers, Harry, Claude, Orville, Clyde and Kenneth Dickerson and sisters, Florence Anglemyre and Evelyn Langenderfer.  Friends and family will be received from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Monday, December 31, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at St. Richard's Catholic Cemetery in Swanton.  Deacon Jerry Ziemkiewicz will be officiating.  Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to a charity of the donor's choice in June's memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
