Loretta M. "Laurie" Petroni, age 77, of Delta, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon.  She was born in Boston, MA on December 23, 1937 to the late John E. Kinney and Laura (Liszewski) Kinney.  On July 10, 1961 she married Robert "Bud" Petroni and he survives.  Laurie was a member of St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time at her winter home in Arizona.  In addition to her husband, "Bud", she is survived by her six daughters, Debbie (Steve) Curran, Theresa (Dave) Thorpe, Peggy (Gordon) Matthews, Candy (David) Minke, Lori (Rod) Newland and Tina Petroni; brother, John (Alice) Kinney; 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and her canine companion "Bella".  Friends and family will be received on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta; where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM with Father Robert Holden officiating.  In honoring Laurie's wishes cremation will follow.  Interment will be private for the family.   Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
