Louise C. McDonnall-Thayer, age 91 of Delta, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 20, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.  She was born in Delta on February 16, 1922, one of 5 children blessed to Gaston Sintobin and Edith (Artz) Sintobin.  Louise was a 1939 graduate of Wauseon High School.  After graduating, she worked as a secretary for Attorney Jim Williamson in Wauseon and later returned to work for him after raising her children.  On July 26, 1941 she married Scott McDonnall and he preceded her in death 1989.  Later Louise married William Thayer and he preceded her in death in 2012.  She was a member of Winameg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and was a 4-H leader for many years.  Louise enjoyed sewing, playing cards, traveling, fishing in Canada and playing shuffle board during the winters in Florida.  Left to cherish Louise's memory are her children, James (Suzanne) McDonnall and Jerry (Nancy) McDonnall both of Delta; daughter, Janet (Terry) Greisinger of Grand Ledge, MI; step-children, Diane (Lonnie) Price of Canal Winchester, OH and William David (Kathy) Thayer of Lancaster, OH; sister, Isabelle Haas of Delta; sisters-in-law, Joy Sintobin of Wauseon and Rozella Sintobin of Delta; 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.  Preceding her in death was also her brothers, Charles and Lynn Sintobin and sister, Alice Myers.  Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 5-8 PM at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Louise's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Floyd Vincent officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.  Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to Winameg Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 10925 Co Rd 10-2, Delta, Ohio 43515 or Ebeid Hospice, 5340 Harroun Rd., Sylvania, OH 43560 in her memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
