Mary Jo Bloomer, age 61, of Delta, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 20, 2012 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice.  She was born in Napoleon on March 20, 1951, to the late John Bloomer and Marie (Burk) Bloomer, who survives.  Mary Jo was a 1969 graduate of Bowsher High School and later worked as a secretary for John Armstrong Heating and Air Conditioning and then as a security guard for Securitas, before becoming disabled.  She was also involved with the Maumee Eagles and served as bartender and assisted in the kitchen as needed.  Former husbands include Michael Schondel, Mark Goebel and Troy Bowman. In addition to her mother Marie Bloomer of Delta, she is survived by her son, Michael Schondel Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Austin, Bobby and Elizabeth; brother, Douglas R. Bloomer of Delta; step-children, Kelly Goebel, Ashley Bowman and T.J. Bowman; long time friend Jackie Eckel of Perrysburg; neighbor and friend, Crystal Hardy of Delta and canine companion, "Patches".  In honoring Mary Jo's wishes, services will be private.  Arrangements are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.  Those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Delta EMS, 500 E.
