Mary Bernadine Krugh, age 85, of Liberty Center and formerly of Celina, OH, passed away at the Toledo Hospital, Sunday evening, May 6, 2012. She was born in Celina on April 16, 1927 one of six children to the late Grover S. Nuding and Icy S. (Fast) Nuding. Bernadine graduated from Rockford High School and BGSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a longtime teacher with Liberty Center and Lake Schools. In addition to being a teacher, Bernadine was a pastor's wife and wore many hats in helping with his ministry. She was a longtime member of Liberty Chapel; where her husband, Rev. B.C. Krugh pastored for several years. Her greatest love was for our Lord Jesus Christ. Her greatest blessing in life was her family. Bernadine enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also created many family memories with their cottage at Lake St. Mary's. Bernadine was faithful to the Lord to the end and impacted many for Him. Along with her parents and husband, Bernadine was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Charles and Donald Nuding; and sisters, Helen Harner and Mamie Searight. She is survived by her sons, Wm. Tennyson (Susan), Jerry L. (Deborah), Timothy D. (Jeanie); daughters, Charlene M. Bloomfield and Charlotte K. Neilson; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2:00 -8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service for Bernadine will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Liberty Chapel United Methodist, 9-474 Co Rd V, Liberty Center, Ohio 43532. Pastor Barry Baughman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Northgrove Cemetery in Celina at 3:00 PM.
