Otto A. "Hoppy" Megill, 89, of Delta, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Otto was born and raised in Howell Township, NJ where he spent most of his life, and had lived in Florida before moving to Ohio. Hoppy was a past master of the Farmingdale/Howell Grange and a US Army veteran serving during WWII. Before his retirement, he was an asphalt plant operator for Stavola Construction at their Eatontown plant. Otto is survived by three sons, William Allan Megill of Neptune City, NJ, Thomas Richard Megill of Manahawkin, NJ and Robert Scott Megill of Pinellas Park, FL; a daughter, Dale Marie Thomas of Delta; fourteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon with his funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
