Pamela A. McElderry, age 63, of Swanton, passed away Tuesday night, June 19, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Toledo.  She was born in Lima, OH on September 6, 1948; the only child born to the late William Thompson and Anna (Timmons) Thompson, who survives.  Pam graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1966.  She was a homemaker for many years of her life, before taking a position with Meijer Dept Store in Maumee; where she remained for 18 years before retiring.  Pam enjoyed riding on her husband Dan's Harley motorcycle.  Many trips included ice cream stops throughout the area.  Pam had a love for animals, which led her to once open her own grooming shop in Swanton called "Crestwood Grooming".  In addition to her mother, Anna (Frank) Hughes of Florida; Pam is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dan McElderry; daughter, Carmen (Neil) Tedrow of Delta, grandsons, Noah and Avery Tedrow; and many loving friends. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.  A funeral service for Pam will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Grieser officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio, 3100 W.
