Rose A. Repka, age 94, of Delta, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, January 20, 2013 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon; one day before her birthday.  She was born in Blissfield, MI on January 21, 1918 to the late Joseph Ricica and Mary (Valasek) Ricica.  Rose was a homemaker most of her life, raising her family and helping on the farm with her husband Joe Repka, whom she married on October 29, 1938.  Together they were blessed with two daughters, Rose Mary and Betty.  She enjoyed working outside gardening and tending to her flower beds.  Rose also liked quilting, baking (especially Czech pastries), sewing and making Czech dolls; most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Repka; sisters, Helen Repka, Martha Kinsley and Anna Fust; granddaughter, Jane Momyer and son-in-laws, Jim Eisel and Jim Pontious.  Rose is survived by her daughters, Rose Mary Pontious of Alvordton and Betty (Denny) Upell of Liberty Center; sisters, Frances Zilke and Viola Hutchinson; grandchildren, Ron (Pat) Eisel, Jim (Pam) Eisel, Bob (Bobbie) Eisel, Randy (Becky) Eisel, Scott (Michelle) Eisel, Sandra (George) Gagle, Brock Upell and Kylie (Bryan) Perry; grandson-in-law, Bob Momyer; 24 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.  Friends and family will be received from 2:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with a Vigil service beginning at 7:30 PM.  A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Assumption; with prayers beginning at the funeral home at 10:00 AM.  Father Ron Schock will be officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
