Vera F. Connolly - Stever, age 97, of Delta, passed away at Swanton Health Care early Saturday morning, November 24, 2012.  She was born in Colton, OH on August 22, 1915 to the late Frank T. Shonk and Mary (Smith) Shonk.  Vera was a graduate of Liberty Center High School.  She worked at Toledo Stamping and also as a self employed beautician.  Vera was a member of the Delta United Methodist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion Connolly; second husband, Lester Krumwiede; whom she was married to briefly before his passing; she later married Alger Ray Stever in March of 1991 and he passed away in 2009; also preceding her in death was her sister, Helen Stratton.  She is survived by her loving brother, Joseph (Anna Louise) Laver of Clermont, FL; and loving nieces, nephews and friends.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:30 – 2:30 PM on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Vera's life will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday.  Pastor Jay Miklovic will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.  Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr., Suite B, Perrysburg, OH 43551 or to a charity of the donor's choice in her memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
