Victoria F. McCance, age 63, of Delta, passed away at her home with her loving family by her side early Sunday morning, September 2, 2012.  She was born in Toledo on July 7, 1949 to the late George Quaintance and Helen (Mason) Quaintance.  Vicki was a member of the Evergreen High School class of 1968.  Some of her fondest hobbies included shopping, gardening and working with flowers; which she was able to enjoy working at Lemlee's Greenhouse and at her own home arbor garden.  Most of all, Vicki loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother in 2006, James C. Quaintance.  Left to cherish her special memories is her husband of 43 years, James "Ed" McCance; daughters, Deanne Babcock, Ruth Hite and Jennifer (Joseph) Villaruz; grandchildren, Savanna Victoria Babcock, Jacob Edward and Allianna Kristine Hite, Joseph Michael and Nykaiya Jade Villaruz ; brothers, Ed (Cheryl) Quaintance, Ron (Cindy) Quaintance, George Quaintance; sisters, Cheri (Mike) McFeeters, Lyndell (Ted) Szymanski and Charlene (Dave) Wood; many loving nieces, nephews and one special canine companion "Peanut".  Friends and family will be received from 3-5 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Vicki's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.  Pastor Mona Sauder will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Winameg Cemetery near Delta.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com
