Willard R. Lingler, age 79, of Wauseon, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Willard was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 17, 1936 to the late Harold E. Lingler. On February 6, 1956 he married Marie E. Styfurak in Cleveland and together they shared 59 years of marriage. Willard worked for Budreck truck lines in Chicago, Illinois driving his own truck for 38 years. He enjoyed keeping his truck spotless and took much pride in doing so. When he wasn't cleaning his truck he enjoyed watching Nascar, especially following Tony Stewart. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Willard is survived by his wife, Marie; four children, Dale R. (Debbie) Linger, Hope M. Lingler, Charlotte Lingler-Hrehocik and Valerie A. Brass; seven grandchildren, Eric Lingler, Alicia Lingler, Dennis M. Lingler, Jr., Kyle Koppel, Devin Koppel, Justina M. Lingler-Miller and Dr. Melanie A. Chema; five great-grandchildren, Dakota C. Miller, Cyanna Johnson, Evelyn R. Chema, Madison D. Brass and Isabella M. Lingler; one brother, Russell Linger and his best friend and loving canine companion, Jack. He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Dennis (Corkie) Lingler, one grandson, Clifford N. Lingler-Sheehan and two brothers, Harold and Edward Lingler. In accordance to his wishes, no services will be held at this time. Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta has been entrusted with arrangements.
