Jean Ellen Davis

Jean E. Davis, age 77, of Wauseon, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 7, 2023 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.  She was born at her family’s home in Delta on April 10, 1946 to the late Leroy Davis and Frances (Halsey) Davis.  Jean graduated from Delta High School in 1966.  Before retiring, she would serve nearly 50 years with Scott Port-A-Ford in Archbold.  Jean enjoyed crafting on her spare time, watching NASCAR and cheering in her favorite driver Dale Earnhardt.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and creating special memories, such as playing UNO.  Jean is survived by her son, Tony Davis Sr.; grandchildren, Summer, Chyann and Tony “T.J” Davis Jr.; loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father Leroy in 1976, mother, Frances in 2009; brother, Harold Davis and sister-in-law, Denise Davis and dear friend, who was like a sister, Donna Langenderfer.  Friends and family will be received from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy 109 in Delta.  A private service and interment will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the family, care of Tony Davis Sr.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
