Kenneth C. Davis, age 83, of Liberty Center, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, May 13, 2021 at Grand Rapids Care Center in Grand Rapids, OH. Ken was born at home in Liberty Center on February 8, 1938 to the late Harold Davis and Bertha (Barlow) Davis. He graduated from Liberty Center High School. Before retiring Ken’s work history included farming and carpentry, although anyone who knew him knows his passion was with horses. He traded Draft Ponies and raised American Quarter Horses. Ken enjoyed traveling to horse shows and hosting “Farm Days” on his property in Liberty Center. In addition to farming and horses, he also raised hogs. Ken was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He is survived and will always be remembered by his children, Scott (Denise) Davis of Liberty Center, Kenna Jo (Tim) Burns of Arnold, MO and Jeff (Nora) Davis of Cygnet, OH; brothers, Milt (Lynn) Davis and Terry (Joan) Davis both of Liberty Center; grandchildren, Tyler (Tiffany) Davis, Josh (Stephanie) Jones, Megan Burns and Madison Burns; great grandchildren, Gannon and Finnley Jones and sister-in-law, Karen (Doug) Howell of Liberty Center. Ken was preceded in death by his son, Jim Davis and brother, Jerry Davis. In honoring his wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted with Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.
