Mary Lou Durbin, age 84, of Wauseon, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012 at Heartland of Wauseon.  She was born in Perrysburg on January 3, 1928 to the late George Mayer and Berneta (Spettle) Mayer.  Mary Lou worked many years as a district sales manager for Avon and later selling Mary Kay products throughout Fulton County.  Some of her fondest hobbies included knitting, reading, baking pies and cooking; but most of all she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Rodney and brother, Richard Mayer.  Left to cherish Mary Lou’s memories are her children, Hal (Marcia) Durbin of Findlay, Cherie (Greg) Grimes of Wauseon, Roni (Ron) Lawrence of Pioneer, Tim (Jeanne) Durbin of Findlay and Rob (Cheri) Durbin of Wauseon; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Friends and family will be received from 5-8 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Mary Lou’s life will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM.  Grandson Michael Dachenhaus will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Wauseon Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Susan G.
