Mildred Harmon, age 91, of Delta, passed away Saturday evening September 4, 2021, at McLaren St. Lukes Hospital, Maumee. Mildred was born in Wauseon on May 6, 1930 to Fred and Ethel (Todd) Galbraith. She would later marry Richard Harmon, Sr. and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2005. Mildred was very family oriented and enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After raising her family, she worked for the P-D-Y School District as their head cook for over 25 years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and being an avid Detroit Tiger fan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Richard J. (Jole) Harmon, Jr.; Wayne Harmon; daughter, Marsha (Gale) Young; brother, Fred (Lynette) Galbraith; grandchildren, Josh (Stephenie) Harmon; Jordan Harmon; Lynsey Moore; Andrew Moore; Kiel Moore; Matthew Moore; Zachary (Erica) Young; Lucas (JoHanna) Young and several great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Moore; grandson, Michael Moore; sisters, Elizabeth Galbraith; Arlene Galbraith and Martha Skinner. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta.
