I first met my very good friend Dorothy when I began my teaching career at Shaker Heights High School in 1967. A group of us celebrated our birthdays together for decades, and after our retirements kept in touch with Christmas and birthday cards and greetings. I received such greetings that she wrote me on March 4--just three days before her death and my seventy-fifth birthday! My deepest sympathy and fond thoughts go to all of you who so dearly loved her. Prayers!
