Joyce and Family,
We enjoyed talking to Harold over the years.  He always had a smile and always made us smile.  When my mom would walk our kids uptown, he would always call them Charlie (as I see he called a lot of people that), our son was okay with that, but our daughter would always tell him I am a girl, my name isn't Charlie and he would laugh and say okay bye Charlie.  The next day it just started all over.  The kids always looked forward to seeing him on their walks with my mother.  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by so many.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I didn't find out until late Sunday night, or I would have come to the visitation.  Please know how many fond memories we have of Harold.  God has him wrapped in his loving arms now.  My children will always love and remember "Charlie".  Take care and let me know if you need anything.
Love always,

Joyce, Bob and all, Joyce and I want to send our condolences to all of you at this time of your loss of Harold.  To sum it all up " he truly was a very nice guy ". I worked with him at the Village a short time when he was trying to make up his mind about selling to North Star. It Was really hard on him to sell the family property. He is at real peace now. May God Bless you all.

Joyce and Family:

Duane called and left a message on my phone that Harold had passed away.  I am truely sorry, but his quality of life was not good and in a way it was a blessing.  He will be missed.

I had just called Duane the day before to see how he was doing, never dreaming that Harold was that bad.

I hope you are coming along okay with your knees.

We are in Texas where we spend the winter, so cannot come to Harold's funeral.

You have our deepest sympathy.

So sorry to hear of Harold's passing. Have good memories of him and Luke when they worked for the town. Harold always made a point to stop and chat with me and my son, when we were in town visiting family, on his walks or bike rides thru the cemetery.  He always called my son "Charlie". That always made him laugh, because his name was Benjamen!! Will keep you all in my prayers.

Dear Joyce & family,

We were so sorry to hear Harold passed away this morning.  He was a very caring and kind man.  We enjoyed visiting with him whenever we would see him - when we were visiting our kids & grandkids and at the legion for one of their dinners.  He has been very ill for quite sometime but you and your family were always there for him.  Harold will be truly missed by many, many people.

May God's loving arms be around you all now and in the days ahead.

Love, Carol & Bob
