Dear Family,
I would like to send my condolences. It can be extremely difficult to lose a loved one. That is why I wanted to share the hope found in the bible, the hope of the resurrection. Jesus stated at John 5:28,29 "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will come out."  And at Revelation 21:3,4 it states that there will be a time when "...death will be no more." These scriptures give us hope for the future as respects to our dead loved ones. Those scriptures have brought comfort to me and I hope it does the same for your family.
With Love,
Loren

I met Rolly through my sister Linda's mother-in-law, Aldona.  He became part of the family, always coming to any of the holiday celebrations at Linda's house, even after Aldona passed away.  My husband, kids, and I just loved Rolly being around.  He had such a quirky sense of humor, always making me laugh at his "corny jokes", as everyone else called them.  I was always told not to encourage him, but I enjoyed talking to and laughing with Rolly.  Whenever he wasn't able to make it to any of the functions, we would immediately ask about him.  As his health started to fail, we truly missed his presence at any of Linda's events.  We truly loved you Rolly and will miss your sweet sense of humor!

I had the priviledge of caring for Rollie for a short time. He will be fondly remembered for many things(especially for his love of politics & pretty girls!).
My prayers & condolences go to Rollies family at this time.

I met Rollie at Spring Meadows Extended Care Center, where I often visit and entertain the residents.  We always had a wonderful time exchanging jokes and stories, and he never missed an opportunity to brag about U of M.  I learned the news Wednesday when I asked why he wasn't at the birthday party, and we sang "God Bless America" in his honor.  He will be greatly missed by all of us -- residents, staff, and entertainers.  May he rest in peace.
