Carl "Butch" Ritter

Carl “Butch” Ritter, age 78, of Delta and formerly of Perrysburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, April 25, 2018 at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon.  He was born in Kirkwood, Missouri on May 23, 1939 to the late Otto Christian Ritter and Jennie (Bittner) Ritter.  Carl attended Perrysburg High School.  On May 24, 1969 he married Marcia Hurst and together shared 49 years together.  For over fifteen years Carl served as a grounds keeper for the Levis Estate.  Carl is survived by his wife, Marcia; children, Sarah (Ricky) Ritter Chung and their son, David Carl, Paula (Tim McHugh) McAdams, Lisa (Bob) Donato and Chris (Lorri) Ritter; sister, Barbara Bloom; grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In honoring Carl's wishes, there will be no public services and interment will be private for the family at Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg at a later date.  Arrangements are entrusted with Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
