In 2004, we opened our doors to the community. We are proud to be the only facility, currently in Fulton County, built specifically to be a funeral home. This provides our families with large spacious viewing rooms and a funeral chapel, while keeping our building completely handicap accessible with a one-level floor plan and no steps. With our convenient passenger drop-off at the front doors, visitors are free from adverse weather conditions.

Another benefit of our funeral home is that the preparation of your loved one, visitation, and funeral services are handled from one location. Unlike other area funeral homes, there is no unnecessary transportation of your family member to another facility for embalming, preparation, or cosmetics. At Barnes Funeral Chapel, the funeral director you meet with will be the same person caring for your loved one. This consistency builds trust and ensures that your wishes will be fully carried out to your satisfaction.

In July of 2018, we expanded our services to include a human crematory. “A Higher Standard of Service” is more than just our motto; it is our top priority. This capability aligns with our vision for broadening the services we provide to the communities we serve. Barnes Funeral Chapel can perform cremations on-site, to provide families with the assurance that their loved one stays in our care throughout the entire funeral process. We are proud to be the only funeral home in Fulton County with a cremation facility on the funeral home grounds.
