Robert Gerald Shepard

Robert Gerald Shepard, age 63, of Delta passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in his home surrounded by his loving family.  Robert was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on June 30, 1956 to the late Roland & Alice (Williams) Shepard.  He met and married the love of his life, Mary McCaig on November 17, 1979.  Robert worked for Johns-Manville for over 41 years retiring on June 30, 2019.  Robert was a devoted family man, enjoying being with his children and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed listening to music, singing and telling jokes.  He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Mary; children, Holly (Brad) Kerstiens; Laura (Jeremy) Heyman; Robert (Ashley) Shepard; Vickie (Nick) Sizemore; grandchildren, Owen & Vivian Heyman; Elijah & Delylah Shepard; Alden Kerstiens; sisters, Mary (KD) Garmenn; Jane (Jim) Smith and brother, Bill Shepard.  There will be no public visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday July 8, 2019, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 14010 S. River Rd., Grand Rapids, Ohio with Fr.
