Jeffrey M. Flory, age 69, of Archbold, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Beth, by his side on Saturday afternoon, August 22, 2026. He was born in Napoleon on May 4, 1957, to the late Carl Flory and Elizabeth (Bradshaw) Flory. Jeff was a graduate of Napoleon High School. On May 21, 1993, Jeff married Beth Ricker, and together they shared 33 years of marriage. He spent over 30 years working for Sauder Woodworking in Archbold before retiring. Jeff was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon, where he served as a trustee. He found enjoyment in the simple things in life, especially spending time with Beth. Saturday afternoons often meant going out to eat together, a tradition they shared and cherished. Jeff was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed watching classic television shows and movies. Among his favorites were old westerns, including “Gunsmoke” and “Wagon Train”, as well as “Emergency” and movies starring John Candy. As he became more technically savvy, Jeff took pleasure in searching the internet on his laptop, always curious to learn something new and broaden his knowledge of the world around him. Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Beth A. Flory; brothers, David (Brenda) Flory and Michael (Sue) Flory, both of Napoleon; along with many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 841 N. Shoop Avenue, Wauseon, Ohio 43567. A funeral service honoring Jeff’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, also at the church, with Pastor Logan Scheiwe officiating. Private interment will precede the funeral service at Winameg Cemetery near Delta. Arrangements are entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Delta. Those wishing to make a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the family, care of Beth Flory, with an organization and cause to be determined by her in the future. Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
