Margo Ann (Sulewski) Orthwein

Margo Ann Orthwein, age 76, of Wauseon, Ohio, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus this 24th day of February 2024. She spent her last days surrounded by love with her family and friends.  As a dedicated Christian and follower of Jesus Christ, she remained in prayer and the promise of life ever after with our God Almighty. Margo leaves behind her husband, Roger Orthwein and their extended family. She will be remembered by her sons, daughter, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren as a loving matriarch. She was a wonderful and dedicated friend to so many. Born July 15,1947 to David Sulewski and Adeline (Hartford) Sulewski.  Margo lived a life of travels that always circled back to her community and family in Northwest Ohio. It was these reconnections that Margo cherished the most. She was a fun and spirited soul who took on many passions. Margo enjoyed God’s gifts of floral beauty and took pleasure in creating arrangements to showcase His work, many times blessing those around her with the fruits of her labor. Margo will be remembered for all the heart she shared with friends and family. She truly loved each of them, and if you knew her, you felt it. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile. She has immense passion for her family, her spiritual connection, and the natural world. She embodied the best qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her mother and father in their last years.  Margo is survived by her children, Denny (Rhonda) Skiles, Kim Baun, Bob (Cheryl) Sayen, Andrea Sonnenberg and Andrew Orthwein; brothers, David Sulewski and Joe (Lisa) Sulewski; sister, De (Dean) Baldridge; sister-in-law, Bonnie Sulewski; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Sharon Sulewski; brother, Mike Sulewski; grandson, Jerrod Baun and son-n-law, Lloyd “Bud” Baun.  Margo will be celebrated at the Christ Community Church, 20172 Co Rd X, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio 43555 on Sunday, March 17, 2024 beginning at 1:00 PM.  The family asks that all who are attending her celebration of life wear bright floral colors to honor Margo’s one last arrangement of God’s everlasting beauty, for her beautiful soul is truly walking in God’s heavenly garden today. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta.
